Agenda Items Withdrawn

Two items have been withdrawn from tonight’s Bass Coast Shire Council Ordinary Meeting Agenda.

Item E.3 Removal of vegetation to create a footpath from Abbot Street to Cape Paterson Road in Inverloch, and Item E.4 Multi Unit Development at 35 Sandymount Avenue, Inverloch have both been rescheduled to the April Meeting.

Council CEO, Paul Buckley, said the items had to be pushed back after Council failed to notify applicants and submitters the decisions were being presented at the March Meeting.

“In this instance, Council has made a mistake,” Mr Buckley said.

“We realised the standard process hadn’t been followed, and that stakeholders hadn’t been notified in both cases.

“Both items have been withdrawn and will be represented to Council at the April Meeting.

“We sincerely apologise to the applicants and submitters for this error and any inconvenience caused.

“We have reviewed our procedures to ensure this situation doesn’t occur in the future.”
