Developing Bass Coast, Breakfast Forum
Bass Coast Shire Council held a successful breakfast forum on Friday, 25 May, which discussed the opportunities and barriers for developing industry in Bass Coast.
The guest speaker was Gil King CEO of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria. Gil presented a market overview of Bass Coast, the wider region, and Victoria, and also spoke about a number of policies and trends affecting the property sector.
Over 40 people from across the shire attended, with representation from a range local businesses and Council. Deputy Mayor, Cr Brett Tessari, and Cr Les Larke attended.
Council’s Manager Economic Development and Tourism, Peter Francis gave an update on business activity across the Shire. Jodi Kennedy, Manager Strategy and Growth also provided an update on recent planning activity and development projects.
